  3.                 DISKOVERY: Nine Blocks of Nebulous Noodling

  8.     I've got nine blocks or less to tell you what's on my mind.  Hey, no
  9. problem!  Let's see, on Side Two of this issue we have the final
  10. installment of DAVE'S TERM 128, five online games, including pinochle and
  11. Tetris.  David Jansen, the creator of DT128, probably won't be sending any
  12. more modules for it, but if any of you follow Don Graham's lead and produce
  13. a DT128 "byproduct", by all means send it to me.
  14.  
  15.     According to my pessimistic ramblings of a few issues back, LS 128 #32
  16. was looking like it may be the last LOADSTAR Quarterly, but thanks to an
  17. influx of good programs lately, we plan to hang around for a few more
  18. quarters.  For LS 128 #32 I've got a great musical program by John
  19. Serafino, and a stock market portfolio program by John Locke of Medford
  20. OR.
  21.  
  22.     At this point I'd like to thank Bob Markland of Gillette WY for all the
  23. help he has given me on this issue.  He's a dedicated 8-bitter and has
  24. volunteered to take some of the weight that falls upon my shoulders every
  25. three months.  LOADSTAR 128 deserves its own firebrand and Bob is the
  26. perfect guy for it.  You'll be seeing more from him in the future -- and
  27. loving every minute of it.

  29.     But even though #32 is looking pretty good, I would feel a lot better
  30. if I had more "little" programs.  For the past few issues we've been
  31. publishing these huge do-it-all programs -- which is fine -- but I'm ready
  32. for an issue full of lots of things, even if they are specific for just
  33. certain users or only handle one task.  Aren't you?
  34.  
  35.     I'm also interested in reviews of 128 software that's still available.
  36. And what's with John Brown of Parsec and Twin Cities 128?  He's mad at Jeff
  37. Jones so he won't communicate with us or send us any copies of TC128, but
  38. if there's anything newsworthy coming from JB that the rest of our readers
  39. might want to know, let me know about it.  Politics.  Don't you just love
  40. it?
